Does this sound familiar?
I’m always on a diet!
I’m sick of dieting.
I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired!
If only I could lose these last 5 pounds . . .
I must just be getting older…must be those damn hormones!
I don’t have TIME for myself.
I don’t have TIME to think about food.
I get it.
Because that was me too, once.
And it wasn’t until I had a serious wakeup call in the form of my son’s auto-immune disorder that I realized my family’s relationship with food HAD to change, pronto.
Today, my son is virtually free of all his symptoms—and I feel healthier than I ever have.
But I don’t want you to have to go through something traumatic before you make your health a priority.
Instead, I want to show you what’s possible, and how much better you’ll feel as soon as you start making simple shifts to regain control of your wellbeing.
Since getting my Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition and my Certification in Functional Diagnostic Nutrition, I’ve helped numerous clients get rid of discomfort, pain, and inflammation. And I’ve helped them lose weight, too—not by starving themselves OR counting calories, but by eating real, whole foods in a way that makes sense to their lifestyle.
And before you allow guilt or shame to creep in because you troughed a half pint of ice cream last night in front of the television, stop right there. Because this is a judgment-free zone.
First of all, I’ve heard (and seen) it all—if not experienced it for myself. And second of all . . .
It’s not your fault.
It’s the food industry’s.
You see, the REAL problem is your brain’s natural biochemical reward system has been short-circuited, and the symptoms you’re experiencing—migraines, gas, bloating, allergies, brain fog, etc.—are a DIRECT result of that.
The food industry has led you to believe what THEY want you to believe—thanks to the media, advertising, and a lot of pretty packaging.
After all, if you hear something often enough, it becomes your truth.
Did you know that there are over
65,000 diet books on the market?
As a nation, we’re obsessed with dieting and calorie counting—yet obesity is still rampant. In 2012, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that the percentage of clinically obese adults aged 20 and over reached a staggering 35%. Not only that but, unless things change, by 2050 1 in 5 Americans will be diagnosed with Diabetes.
It’s time to put an end to product-based recommendations and listen to BODY-based recommendations. It’s time to take back control of your body and your life. And it’s time to add the RIGHT foods in to eliminate your cravings once ‘n’ for all.
Imagine . . .
No more counting calories.
No more buying products based on points or ‘health’ claims.
No more low-fat, no-fat, low-carb, high-protein diets.
No more diet pills.
No more diet books.
No more dieting . . . PERIOD.
Instead, I’ll show you how to be proactive about your health—by listening to your body and developing an approach that works for YOU. One that allows you to spend a day with the girls, shopping and getting pampered. Or enjoying a glass of wine (or two) on vacation if that’s what you want to do.
No judgment. Just real food for real life.
