You’ve tried everything, yet something is still missing.
You don’t want to do another program!
You feel ‘off’ but can’t put your finger on it.
You’re eating less but can’t lose weight.
You’re ‘getting older’, your hormones are shifting and so is your weight…
Maybe you are eating healthy, exercising, getting sleep but you’re still tired or cranky or not able to lose weight.
You might be chalking it up to just getting older and ‘everyone feels this way.’
Maybe you’ve gone to the doctor but they haven’t found anything and they send you home telling you that you are just getting older or worse…”it’s all in your head!” (Yes, I’ve had clients tell me that their doctors have said that to them. First thing I always say…”find a new doctor!”)
Maybe you feel like your entire world is unraveling and have no energy to do the work that you normally love to do!
…No motivation to get out of bed.
…No energy to play with your kids.
…No energy to reach out to friends.
…Can’t think straight. Can’t speak. Can’t type.
Complete adrenal exhaustion!
You might be experiencing:
- Aching muscles
- Constipation/ Diarrhea
- Dark circles under your eyes
- Decreased muscle tone
- Dry skin / Eczema
- Hot flashes
- Joint pain
- Mood swings
- Thinning hair
- Tired all the time
- and much more!
NONE OF THIS IS NORMAL! You need a nutritionist with a twist (me!) to decipher your body’s hidden stressors and break the mold of mediocrity!
Each of us reacts to foods, products and stressors differently. The point is to understand what triggers you. Once we uncover that, we can get to the truth of what your story is and create your plan so that you can finally achieve what you are looking for.
Stop beating yourself up! This is not your fault!
Symptoms are the last thing to appear. What you are feeling are signs that your body is giving you that something is off and to pay attention. Imagine if our bodies were like cars and had indicator lights to tell us when to check things out…we would be so much healthier!
So, what’s the twist?
Looking at your lifestyle. It’s more than food that got you here in the first place. Your health is not one-dimensional, and your approach to achieving it shouldn’t be either! The more you are connected to your body, the more you can connect to others.
Isn’t that what we want?
To have more meaningful relationships?
To live life with intention?
Isn’t it time to free yourself from all that is bringing you down?
Are you ready to take the journey to your optimal health?
Our first complimentary session will assess where you are and I ask you to think about the following questions:
- What is your main complaint?
- How often does it bother you?
- How long has this been going on?
- What have you tried that has not worked?
- What does it prevent you from doing or enjoying?
- Is there anything or anyone in the way of you getting healthier?
From here, we discuss your goals and what you are looking for and then I can determine how best to proceed.
The most popular option is the complete comprehensive package!
Here is where Functional Diagnostic Nutrition comes into play. This goes beyond the ‘treat the symptom’ model and just putting a bandaid on it.
With Functional Nutrition, I run 5 specific labs to look at the hormone balance/imbalance, gut function, liver function, oxidative stress, pathogens, and cortisol/adrenal function.
You fill out a few forms to help me see where you are symptomatic. Then when the test results come back, we sit down and I show you where the gaps are and look for healing opportunities to help bring you back into balance. This includes diet, rest, exercise, stress reduction and supplement support.
Here is where we put all the pieces of the puzzle together and help you bridge the gap between self care and medical care and get to the root of what is going on.
This protocol requires a 3 month commitment to help you opt-in to self care in an advanced way that goes beyond regular nutrition.
Not ready for that? That’s ok!
The second option is to meet you where you are.
What does that mean? It can be taking baby steps and helping you read labels or how to eat out at restaurants or changing the foods you are eating or even running 2 labs, instead of 5.
This isn’t a cookie cutter plan so I look to make this work for you and help educate you along the way so that you can shift the way you view food, health and life. It is multi-dimensional, and goes beyond just what you put in your mouth. We can meet / talk weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, again, depending on how motivated you are and what you are looking for.
Regardless of how slow or quick you want to progress, health history and food journals are important here and looking at your blood work helps!
